December Anime and Dramas I'm Watching

Of course, I'm continuing everything that I was watching last month, but some of the dramas may end in December, so I'll write about them once completed. If you're curious about what I'm continuing watching do check it out here.
_______________________
I have not started any new anime this month. Only continued the ones I was already watching, but I do have a few I want to start watching that I'll probably start soon.
_______________________
A couple met through a dating app and they immediately got married but did not realize they work at the same company. Their marriage is a secret from their friends and family. The drama shows how they first met and how they started to fall in love with each other.

I really enjoyed this drama and it was only 7 episodes.
_______________________
This drama is about an Neechan with 3 younger brothers. She has raised them after their parents died in an accident, and she has said that she would not date someone she works with, but in the end starts liking a guy she works with in a different department. This will show how they get together and get through an obstacle in their relationship.

I started watching this after reading just the title. I thought okay it's about a Sisters Boyfriend. Let's see how it is. After starting watching it I noticed that King & Prince's Takahashi Kaito was in it.
_______________________
Obviously since I have watched the other movies and dramas that I would be watching the new season of this as well.

If you know me you'll know I've watched all the dramas and movies that are High & Low.
_______________________
Murakami Maiko is a 24 year old who ends up marrying someone her dad has picked out good for her. He 20 years older than Maiko, but is also a divorcee. Now this drama will show their relationship, and how their 20 year gap will work in their relationship. They do go through a lot of obstacles in their relationship.

The last few months I feel a lot of the dramas I've watched dealt with either a relationship or some kind of marriage. I started watching this because I needed something to watch and thought that the drama could be interesting.
_______________________
This has been on my watch list since it came out, but I just never got around to watching it till now.
This drama is based on songs by Kis-My-Ft2's Miyata Toshiya and Tamamori Yuta songs called "Be Love", "Hoshi ni Negai wo, and "Unmei". Now, this drama also stars them. Tamamori being a writer, and Miyata being an editor and it is about their love story.

I decided to watch this because of the actors, so because of Kis-My-Ft2's Miyata Toshiya and Tamamori Yuta.
_______________________
This drama is about a part time worker Kiki who works at a convenience store. Now, during her spare time she writes reviews about sweets on her social media account. One day she mets the chain's CEO Takumi Asaba and ends up having Kiki to create a new line of desserts to sell at the chains. This will be the story about how Kiki and Asaba work together and grow close to each other.

Only one that I decided to watch with just seeing the title. Plus the male lead Nakamura Tomoya was in it, so I thought it would be good since I usually like the dramas he's in. Plus after watching it I love that it was showing a lot of different sweets. LOL.
_______________________
Drama is about a youth sports for table tennis. This will have a sequel starting Jan. 20th.

I ended up watching this because of Kitamura Takumi and Itagaki Mizuki. I feel like a few years ago I watched something else like drama or a movie about table tennis and I enjoyed it, so that's another reason why I decided to watch this one.
_______________________
This drama is about Yoon Ari who is a suucubus and feeds off of human energy. This is the story is based on during the pandemic and Ari meets a man who is different. It'll show what they story ends up being.

I remember watching something on YouTube and a recommended trailer was this, so I watched it. After that I checked to see what it was about. I've only watched like 3 episodes, but I think it's cute.
_______________________
I was so excited when it was announced this was going to be a drama.
This is based on a Webtoon. It's about a high school girl Lim JuGyeong who raises in pretty girl fame. She ends up mastering the art of make-up through YouTube. It's about her love story about that only one boy saw her without her makeup and that is Lee Su Ho.

This was I was super excited about watching, because I love the Webtoon. I love that it has 2 new episodes a week. (But I still feel like I wish I could binge watch the whole season. LOL. Makes me always want to watch more).
_______________________
It's about a son from a wealthy family who runs a company. He meets Lee Yoo Mi who has never had a boyfriend, but Cha Jin Wook only has short term love. Now, it show their interaction from when they first meet to how it all starts.

I watch a decent amount of dramas on Netflix and found this one. (If you wanna see what stuff I've watched and enjoy on Netflix let me know).
_______________________

I feel like this month has been more of a month of dramas watching compared to anime. I didn't start any new anime this month, but have continued to watch the ones I started. There was a lot of dramas that I started in October/November that I finished. Plus a few that I started this month that I ended up watching the whole season at once.

Let me know what you guys are watching. I'll be posting soon what I'll be looking forward to in this anime new season and go over what dramas/movies I'm currently looking forward to that will be starting.

Dramas and Animes I'm Currently Watching November

Hi everyone! I'm back with my current dramas and anime I'm currently watching.

We'll start with animes and then go on to dramas.

Anime:

My Hero Academia

Okay, so I know this is an anime that has been out for a few years. I just for some reason didn't watch it till now. I'm on like the halfway mark of season 3. This is an anime that isn't currently airing any new episodes right but, but I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm hoping I can finish Season 3 and 4 by the end of the month. I was watching it and I was telling some of my friends I recognized a lot of the voice actors and actresses since they were voicing other characters I like in other animes. Plus a lot of the opening and ending songs are songs that I was already listening to and I didn't realize they were for the anime opening or ending.

___________________________________

Haikyuu! To the Top 2nd Season

Now, for those who know I watched the first half of the new season already. Since it's airing the second half I am watching it of course. Since I love Haikyuu. I think if you know me well enough you know that this was a given to watch.

___________________________________

Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi

I haven't watched too much of this anime yet. Only the first two episodes. Since I loved Inuyasha I knew I was going to watch this as well. Also, love that SixTONES is the opening song for this as well and I really like the NEW ERA song. I want to have time to catch up and watch more of this.

___________________________________

Majo no Tabitabi

My friend recommended this to me, but I did have it on my list. I have only watched the first two episodes. From watching the first two episodes I really like it so far and looking forward to how it goes and catching up on it this month.

___________________________________

Noblesse

I read the description of this anime and saw a short preview of it and it looked very interesting. It wasn't one that I was going to start this month, but I kept seeing memes and clips of it that I ended up starting it. I've only watched the first two episodes of this anime as well.
___________________________________

Maoujou de Oyasumi

To be honest I was looking at what animes Funimation had and this is what I found on there. Since I was finishing the last episode of Balance Unlimited. I ended up watching the first 2 episodes I had on there, but so far it's pretty interesting. I want to continue to watch to see what happens.

___________________________________

Dramas:

Marry Me!

I ended up watching this after reading the description of the drama. The story is about Akiyasu Shin who is working for the government. And will take part of the NEET program and his partner is  Sawamoto Himari who was signed up without her knowledge. They will marry to help Himari to rehabilitate and reintroduce her to society. This drama is showing how their life together is from the start and how they will change their relationship over time. This is based on a webcomic "Marry Me!". I've been really enjoying this drama.

___________________________________

Bokura wa Koi ga Hetasugiru

This is a story about two friends Fujiwara Hana and Katayama Mizuki. It starts off with Hana being dumped by her boyfriend, but Hana and her friend Mizuki go on a trip. They end up meeting Narita Yosuke and Ichinose Ayumu. In this, you'll see how Hana does change and how her relationship life and friends life struggles through the episodes. This is a manga adaptation as well. To be honest I've never read the manga for this drama. I have watched a few dramas with Shirasu Jin in it, so it's the one reason why I wanted to watch it. Plus the description of the drama was interesting. I'm really enjoying this drama.

___________________________________

Gokushufudo

This is also another one that is adapted by a webcomic. In which I haven't read that either. This is a drama about Tatsu who is a big well known, yakuza and is known for that. Now, he ends up giving up that life and violence and becomes a house husband. You'll see how he adapts to his new lifestyle.

Babel Kyusaku

Babel Kusaku is about a 5 story building that's 88 years old. Kusaku Mitsuhiro is dreaming of becoming a screenwriter, well one day he gets lost in Babel. And Babel is a false world where all the dreams can come true and be accessed. The tenants of Babel are all the people who gave up on their dreams in the real world. And are those who got lost, but wish to stay in Babel forever. Once you say the word Babel you stay in that world forever and will not return to the real world. This is based on a novel by Manabu Makime. Now, I haven't read the novel at all, but I decided to watch the drama since Fuma and Kochi are in the drama. I've seen the first two episodes and it's definitely an interesting drama and also no the usual kind of drama that I do watch.

I'll definitely write the reviews of the dramas once they are all completed. :)

Watashitachi wa Douka Shiteiru (Something's Wrong With Us/Cursed Love)

If there are other dramas, anime, or movies I've watched that you want me to write a review please do let me know. And I'll be happy to do that for you!

So before we get into this drama review I kind of wanna mention of how much I actually really enjoyed this drama. It is not often that I say that I want to buy a DVD drama box set. So the fact that I’m saying this is actually something that’s even shocking to me sense I don’t really buy drama box DVD sets much I’ll buy maybe like a movie DVD here and there but that’s about it. This drama is one that I really want to purchase the DVD box set. Now I’ll get into the reasons of how good this drama and stuff is and like kind of give you a glimpse what it’s about but I don’t want to spoil anything. But it doesn’t happen often where I watched episode one and then when does the next week comes I watch that whatever episode it’s on sale like a watch episode two and then I go back and watch one and two again it does not happen often. Now with this drama I definitely was going back and watching the episodes again all over from the beginning until whatever the episode is on so if it was like episode 1, 2, 3, and four were out I’d go back and watch after I watch the episode that aired that day then I’ll go back and watch from like the first episode until whatever this out. so obviously since I’ve already we watched all the episodes multiple times you can see I really enjoyed it.

Now I am reading the manga as well and I’m really enjoying both. You can tell there are a lot of things that they’ve used that were in the manga be used in the drama. So I’m really glad they did that just because I know sometimes they’re gonna be scenes that aren’t in there and they’ll be scenes that they do you have in there but I feel like the scenes that they used and copied from the manga the portrayed it in a good way. I feel like all the people who are acting in this drama portrayed the characters extremely well I would not want anybody else acting as these characters since I feel like it was well done. I know some of you guys know that the manga is still ongoing and the drama just currently ended with a two-hour special without commercial cuts it’s like maybe an hour and 40 minutes or so. In which I feel like they did a really good job with how the drama ended the only thing I’m more curious about is going to be when the manga ends how they’re going to end it because most likely it is not gonna be the same ending. And to be honest I love that they did such a longer episode for the last one. Just because I feel like I enjoyed the cast who are acting in this drama so much and I got so invested in the story.

Let’s get started with the information for this drama. The drama is about Hanaoka Nao and her single mother that move into Kogetsuan, in which that it is a traditional Japanese confectionery shop. (Japanese traditional sweets). Nao’s meets the grandson of the house who is said to be the one that would take over Kogetsuan one day in the future and his name is Tsubaki. Tsubaki’s father ends up being stabbed by someone and passes away. Tsubaki makes a statement that Nao’s mother was the one he saw and killed his father. Nao’s mother gets arrested and passes away during the investigation. Now more than 15 years later Tsubaki and Nao reunite at a competition. Tsubaki takes interest in Nao and asks her to marry him, but he does not know that she is Sakura the one who is his childhood friend and lived with him. Nao decides to keep this as a secret and tries to get into Kogetsuan through marriage to Tsubaki to prove her mother’s innocence.

So the story will go on and it’ll be to see if Nao and Tsubaki can overcome the many different obstacles that are thrown their way. The drama follows the many different obstacles they both will endure. And you can see how they both are very drawn to each other.

Here's the character chart.

The manga is not yet done, so please do check it out! Also the DVD/Blu-ray box set will be released next year on February 24th.

If there's any dramas/anime that you want me to review do let me know.

Current Anime/Dramas I Am Watching

Hi everyone! It's been a little while. Thought I'd start with what I'm currently watching right now. (Ones that are currently still airing). I'll also be posting soon a animes, dramas, and movies that I have watched so far this year in 2020.

Dramas:
Guilty: Kono Koi Wa Tsumi Desuka
I ended up deciding to watch this drama on a whim. I was looking around what dramas were currently airing to watch and this is one that came up. Plus once I found out Koike Teppei was in this I knew I was going to enjoy it.
This drama is about Ogino and her husband. They have been married for 6 years. Now, Ogino has been working for a women's fashion magazine. One day they are looking for a location for a photoshoot and they found a restaurant, which she ends up finding out her high school crush Akiyama, who was running the restaurant. Now, this is going to show if they can overcome their friendship and feelings and also show Ogino's relationship with her husband and if they can overcome it.

Watashi no Kaseifu Nagisa-San
I've watched a lot of dramas with Tabe Mikako and Seto Koji, so once I saw this I knew I was going to watch it. It looked like an interesting story and to see what romance will happen between the characters.

Aihara works in a medical representative with a company. She is single and on her birthday Nagisa ended up being on her doorstep to tidy up her house. Now, a rival company's employee (Tadokoro) ends up moving next door to Aihara.

____________________________________________________________________________

Animes:
Fugou Keiji : Balance: Unlimited
This anime is currently back to airing again. It was on stop because of what is happening in the world. Now, the song Navigator is by SixTONES for their opening song. You can watch the Music Video here or watch the English Lyric Video here. (For those who don't know I am a SixTONES fan).

Black Clover

Now, this isn’t an anime that just recently started. It’s been airing since 2017. I stopped watching it at one point, but I decided to rematch it and currently watching it weekly. The 11th opening is a song called Stories by Snow Man. (This song will not be released as a single till October 7th of this year). The song started in episode 129 and is said to end on 140. I feel like this isn't an anime I kind that I typically watch, but I do enjoy it a lot.

This is about Asta and Yuno who were abandoned in the same church. Now, they came to know of the “Wizard King” that is a title given tot he strongest mage in the kingdom. Uno and Asta were both different. Uno was one who can wield magic with amazing power and control, but Asta was one who cannot use magic at all and is desperate to try to awaken his powers by training physically. Uno is given a Grimoire of a four-leaf clover and Asta does not receive anything. Later on, Yuno is attacked by Lebuty. Now Lebuty is trying to obtain Yuno’s Grimoire, but Asta tries to flight Lebuty. He ends up releasing his emotions rage and receives a five-leaf clover Grimoire “Black Clover”. This helps him defeat Lebuty. Now, both Yuna and Asta head out to the world and are both seeking the same goal of being a Wizard King.

Ahiru no Sora
Another basketball anime. I love Kuroko no Basket, so I found this one to watch. Now, this is about Sora who goes to a high school to join the basketball club. This you’ll see the basketball club from the start of them becoming an actual basketball team to play. Sora is on the small side, but has a lot of different skills and is quick on his feet, but started out he has never played in an actual game before.

Food Wars
I already watched the other seasons of Food Wars, so of course I'm watching the newest seasons. Food Wars follows Souma Yukihara on his journey to be a skilled cook. You’ll see him face the different Food War battles. (I recommend to not watch when hungry).

____________________________________________________________________________
Thanks for reading! I feel like I have more dramas and animes that I finished recently more than ones that I am currently/still watching. I want to make a list of ones that I have watched this year/rewatched this year. That'll be probably next!

Dramas I'm Currently Watching

Hey everyone! It's been a while, but let's go back into the groove of posting. First with dramas I'm currently watching this month.

Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made Mo
I love Sato Takeru as an actor, so I was looking forward to his role in this drama as a doctor. Kamishiraishi Mone was in a movie that I enjoyed that came out last year with Yokohama Ryusei called L♥DK: Two Loves Under One Roof, so I know of her from that and a few other dramas or movies I've seen. In which Kamishiraishi's character becomes a nurse. Kamishiraishi's character picks up the name "Warrior Chick" because of her persistence of Tendo-Sensei (Sato Takeru). The role fits them both so well and it follows how they go through rough obstacles that get in their way.
*This is also a manga*

Kono Otoko wa Jinsei Saidai no Ayamachidesu
Mocomichi Hayami finally has gotten the main role in the drama. It's been years since he has had the main role. Sato(Matsui Airi) goes to a bar and drinks alone after her pet dog has passed away she ends up getting into angry at another customer. Since she wishes someone would create a medicine that could bring someone back to life. Sato ends up tripping the man and leaves the bar. The next day she finds out she tripped Amagi Kyoichi(Mocomichi) who is the CEO of the company she works for. Amagi asks Sato to, "Please treat me as a slave." This drama does have their funny moments.
*This is also a manga*
Unmei Kara Hajimaru Koi: You Are My Destiny
This drama has other versions. This one isn't my favorite version. The storyline is still good though. Aya (Takimoto Miori) is known at her work as the companies "sticky woman". In which they put sticky notes on her with tasks to do. Aya and Ichijo Kei(Kizu Takumi) meet in an unexpected situation and their destiny is about to change.
*Has many other drama versions of this one*
